day was one of the strangest and sad
dest tragedies In the annals of crime
In Georgia. The whole terrible story
has been told, even to the smallest
details, In the newspapers of the state,
and compels attention becausp of the
remarkable features which have been
brought to light. Sympathy Instinct
ively goes out to the unhappy woman
whose terrible vengeance overtook her
wayward sister, and maledictions are
at the same time heaped upon the
head of the man In the case—the hus
band and father who turned his back
upon those whom he was bound by
law-, and honor to protect, and who
led astray the unsophisticated girl who
should have been the object of his
brotherly care. A more horrible story
