HAIR NATURALLY ABUNDANT.
Wien It la Free of Dandruff, It Growa
Luxuriantly.
Kair preparations and dandruff cures,
aa a rule, are sticky or irritating affairs
that do no earthly good. Hair, when not
diseased, grows naturally, luxuriantly.
Bandrqff is the cause of nine-tenths of
all hair trouble, arid ^landruff is caused
by a germ. The only way to cure dand
ruff is to kill the germ; and, so far, the
only hair preparation that will positively
destroy the germ is Newbro’s Herpiclde—
absolutely harmless, free from grease,
sediment, dye matter or dangerous drugs.
It allays itching instantly; makes hair
glossy and soft as silk. “Destroy the
chuse, you remove the effect." Sold by
leading druggists. Send 10c. in stamps for

This morning at 9:30 o'clock a fire
alarm was turned In from a house
near the river bridge. The house be

pled by a negro washwoman, Millie
Bell. I
The fire originated from a defective

It was soon put out with chemical ex
tinguishers. The damagfe was slight.
The occupants of the house took ev
erything out, and among the mattress-!
es, bed clothes, etc., a half dozen eggs
were brought out. A member of the
police force was one of the first to
arrive on the scene. His brother offi
cers attribute this to the fact that he
was after the eggs, which had had
time to he cooked.

Letter to O. D. Smith, Albany, Ga.:
Dear Sir—Messrs. Leachman & Ed*
elin, Graftpn, W. Va., had been selling
a paint, which they thought well of;
and this had occurred.
They had sold a customer 18 gallons
of it to paint his house. A few years
later, they sold the same man Devoe
lead-and-zlnc the same number of gal
lons to p.alnt the same house. He had
7 gallons left.
The point of the tale is: 11 gallons
Devoe paints an 18-gallon house.
Do you want to sell it?
Of course, that isn’t all.
Why does 11 gallons Devoe go as
far as 1§ gallons of other paint? Be
cause it is all paint, all true, no sham,
and full measure.
Do you want to sell it?
But that isn’t all. Devoe lasts long
er. No. no; you haven’t got to wait
ten years to find that out. Ten thous
and people know it. We’ve got their
names. Our agents know them; they
think a heap of Devoe. There’s no
difficulty in showing your townspeople
what to expect of Devoe. $10 will
paint a $15 house; and the paint’ll
last twice as long.
Do you want to sell it?
Yours truly,
F. W. DeVOE & CO..
