This Is a true story. It befell an
Albany man who recently made a trip
to Atlanta.
He wandered around the streets a
good deal, dodging the street-cars and
stopping at every drug store to get a
drink. (Soft drinks, it had' better be
Inserted, else a wrong Impression be

On he wandered, It getting well on

all, the last stray nickel going for a

Just before his going broke be saw
a soda fountain. Anyway, the fixtures
were there. He noticed, though, even
In Ills somewhat dazed condition, that
it wasn’t a drug store, or a cafe, or
anything of that sort. It looked more
like an electrical supply company’s
store than anything else. But the
marble-topped counter was there and
sale.
The poor fellow murmured some
thing or other, beat a hasty retreat,
and applied adjectives to himself hard
ly to be repeated In polite company.
And even In his dreams that nlght-

side one, while not conducive to sleep,
engenders dreams of' all sorts—he
saw, to quote his own words, “a darn
fool going In a plumbing establish
