NOT BE DECEIVED
The. only genuine
BOHEMIAN EXPORT BEER,
is made by the Acme Brewing Qo., of Macon. “Export Bohemian Beer,” offered by some local dealers as the genuine Bohemian Export, is made
by a mythical brewery, and is a cheap imitation. There is no Bohemian Brewery Co., of St. Louis, but there is a little brewery over in Montgomery
that is evidently ashamed to put out its products under its real'name. The Bohemian Brewing Company, of St._Louis, is just another name^for this
little Montgomery brewery. It’s a scheme to deceive the public. Do not be deceived. Insist on the gen’

faith. Then the right reverend bishop
spoke In an equally Impressive man
ner on the words of the gospel, “Mary
the Mother of Jesus."
He commenced by reference to the
gospel of the day wherein our Lord
warned His disciples that they would
meet opposition and persecution and
even death at the hands of those to
whom they were sent. Hence Cath
olics should not he surprised at the
reception given to some of the teach
ings of the church, but ,tt did seem re
markable that when so reasonable and
scriptufal a doctrine as that of honor
and influence of Mary the Mother of
Jesus Was taught, that such opposi
tion was raised by Christians. The
bishop told of the moral law given to
Moses and the Hebrew people on Sinai
and how thpse laws wore of binding
obligation on all men. That law after
treating of man’s duty to God, In Its
first regulation of his duty to crea
tures, commanded honor, obedience,
reBpect and love of parents; and Jesus
the perfect man, had for His mother
that honor, obedience, respect and
love. As Jesus Is our model, In this
we,may and should Imitate Him.
The bishop sketched the gospel
Btory of Jesus’ childhood, Which he
said St. Luke must have reoelved from
Mary, and told the story of Bethlehem
and Nazareth, where Jesus was sub
ject to Mary, and then told of the
Saviour’s first miracle, that of Cana of
Galilee, which was performed at
Mary’s request.
He told of the .power which Mary
had with Jesus as His Mother, and
said If that influence was exercised
merely to save confusion to the bride
groom, or host at the wedding feast, it
was much more likely to be offered
and with certainty of success in favor
of those for whom Christ died.
The Bishop made passing reference
to the Influence of the Madonna In art
— both painting and sculpture — and
the Influence on rude men In giving
them a higher concept of woman’s dig
nlty and' position. The Bishop ex-

pressed his satisfaction at having seen

The services concluded with the
singing of the 0 Salutarls, the singing
of the Tantum Ergo and the Benedic
tion of the Blessed Sacrament,_glven
by the Bishop.

The ceremonies at St. Theresa’s
Catholic church on yesterday morning
were both interesting and Impressive,
the occasion being the annual visit of
the Rt. Rev. Benjamin J. Kelley, blsh-
op of Savannah, to his parish at Al
bany.
There was an early morning service
at 8 o’clock, at which the bishop eele:
brated mass and gave first holy com
munion to the following children:
Thomas MoNIchols, Frank Whlre and
Bernard Conaghan.
The late mass at 10:30 was offered
up by 1 Rev. Father Reich, and the ser.
mon was delivered by the. bishop. The
subject of the morning's discourse was
“Our Faith In God and His Individual
Love for Us,” and while an Inspiration
In itself, it was eloquently delivered
by Bishop Kelley, who Is one of the
ablest divines in the Catholic hier
archy. The memory of his earnest
words and the beautiful lesson taught
will long abide In the hearts of those
who were so fortunate as to hear him.
At the evening devotions the blBhop
again addressed his congregation. His
first words were to the children who
were about to receive the sacrament
of confirmation. The sacrament waB
then administered to the following as
pirants: Joseph F. Bechler, Andrew
L. Davis, Joseph "P. Stephens, Peter
J. Lynch, Paul J. Brack, Margaret M.
Stephens, Theresa S. Davis,' Frances
D. Pinkston and Catharine Dayls. The

We anticipate the demand and never sell any green beer. Throughout the
year we carry the following year’s supply, aging it for months in advance,
so that it is always thoroughly ripe, mellow and healthful at the time of sale,
As another safeguard against biliousness, the water used is from our own
