mach, died on Wednesday of
last week. Mr. Berry had been
a great sufferer for several
months from a tumor iu bis
abdomen. He was a highly
respected citizen in the coramu
nity in which he lived; a de¬
vout Christian, and the church
as well as relatives and friends
have sustained & great loss.

had the honor of performing the
sacred rites and be acquitted him¬
self admirably. A most elegant
dinner was spread, such as is rarely
partaken of by "civilized man.”
