italists organized the Piedmont
Construction Company. Colo¬
nel R. M. Mitche 1 ), ot Augusta,
was elected president, and
Congressman Allen D. Candler,
of Gainesville, was elected sec ¬
retary. The charter of the
company was accepted, and
the incorporators proceeded to
busiuess. The capital stock
will be increased to $500,09<'.
The Augusta and
