JACKSON HALL.—The subscriber tenders his thanks

the attention of hitn-eif ;.nd family to merit a continuance
of their support. He has doubled the size of his Dining Room, so as
to be able to accommodate nearly twice as many at the first table as
lie coulil at the last session of the Legislature, and added three more
Rooms to his establishment, which will enable him to supply large
Rooms for large Counties.
He has also added largely to his Stables, which will bo strictly at
tended to. His fare shall be the best the countiy affords, and as usual,
the terms moderate.

l has no report to make in accordance with the act of the Lc

ion has been paid in by thp Stockholders, and that the first in

■?ge, has been paid to said Institution. The deranged state o<
Uic monetary system of our country, and the consequent sus
pension of specie payments by the most of the Banks of the
I inited States, have prcventeil this Institution commencing bu
siness (by issuing its own bills) as- soon ns it would otherwise
have done. The President and ) directors, however, indulge the
hope, that erelong, they will be in a-situation to commence is
suing their own bills, believing at tile game time, that nothing
has been lost to the Institution, or tire Stockholders, by the de
lay, under existing circumstances.
