I ho Primary* Department will be composed of those pursuing the or
( branches of an English education.
'l he students in these two departments, as well as the Collegiate,
will be instructed by the Faculty of the College.
In consequence ol this arrangement, boys, in the early stage of their
literary course, will enjoy advantages perhaps unsurpassed in this coun
try.as they will bo taught by a regular Faculty, while the students of
Ute College will receive the full amount of instruction ordinarily given
them, as u ill be seen by u reference to their course of study.
This system will vastly increase tbe labor of the Faculty ; this labor '
they have however consented to undergo.
The adoption of this nowjilan has been caused by the peculiar state
oi the tunes. Though the amount on our subscription list is sufficient
to warrant the commencement of the work in its original form, yet from
tho present state of affairs, it would have been more than indelicate to
call upon many individuals for their subscriptions. Ou the other hand,
many parents have been making their arrangements to send their sons
to Midway, during the next year. Such persons it would be painful to
(lisappoint, yet it would be impossible to proceed for want of funds in
hand. Jhe course now announced as being adopted, wasthon propo
sed-.thnt is, to bring the Academy and College under the government
ami instruction of the same President and Professors. By this ai rango
inent the expenses ot the Institution will be sustained, and all difficulties
in its way removed. «

FEVER AND AGUE PILLS were first introduced to the publie.
The success tvhieli has already attended their use, though confined,

the found it difficult to meet the demand created for
them; but their circumstances having changed, they propose, in the
course of the ensuing year, to extend their sphere of operation to every
section of the country where the Fever and Ague prevails. -
The proprietors have a large mass of'testimony confirming tho re
putation of these pills, and have made the following extracts from let
ters and certificates, which they respectfully present to the public for
consideration. ■ I| will at once be seen by this evidence, that no remedy
