The Primary Department will be composed of those pursuing the or

'I he students in these two departments, as well as the Collegiate,

Inconsequence oi this arrangement, boys, in the early stage of their

'i he adoption ol tins new plan has been caused by the peculiar state

'1 he Trustees close this communication by suggesting to parents, (who

more than si;-taiiied, nnd their children of all ages receive n thorough

keeping boarders as a business, we would suggest that Midway offers

ZT 1 ALLAGHAN’S VEGETABLE FEVER AND AGUE PILLS.
X3T It isjiow three yeais since GALLJGHAN’S VEGETABLE
I'EA'Ell AiX'D AGUE BILLS were first introduced to the public.
Ihe success which has already attended their use, though confined,
comparatively, to a limited extent of country, has been so great, that
the proprietors have found it difficult to meet the demand created for
them; but their circumstances having changed, they propose, in the
course of the ensuing year, to extend their sphere of operation to every
section of the country where the Fever and Ague prevails.
1 lie proprietors have a large mass of testimony confirming the re
putation of these pills, and have made the following extracts from let
ters and certificates, wi ich they respectfully present to the public for
consideration. It will at once be seen by this evidence, that no remedy
for the prevailing disease of the Southern and Western States has ever
been presented to the notice of the afflicted, with stronger claims for
their attention. Founded upon the surest and soundest of all princi
ples, viz. actual experiment, these pills have been wonderfully successful
in restoring the sick to health, and, in spite of doubts and prejudices,
the use oi them, in those parts of the country which the proprietors
have been able to supply, has been rapidly extending. It is highly en
couraging to them that, among the list of those who have been either
personally benefitted by them, or have witnessed their effects on others,
are the names of many ol the most respectable and intelligent men in
the bouth, who have cheerlully given their written testimony to that
effect. J
Letters and Certificates, addressed to the proprietors within the last three -
years, the originals of which are preserved, raid may at any time be
seen by the public.

Messrs Fletcher fy Westcott,
Gentlemen—
It affords me great pleasure to give my testimony in favor of your
“Gallighan’s Fever mid Ague Bills.” 1 have repeatedly employed
them in mx family, and in every case they have succeeded beyond my
hopes, in effecting thorough and permanent cures. They have also
been used extensively in uiy neighborhood, during the past season,
with the same happy and salutary effects. The people in this section
of the country cannot too highly appreciate them, for in my opinion,
they stand at the very head of the list ol medicines lor the Fever and
Ague. Be assured I shall not fail to recommend them to all persons,
whom 1 may meet with afflicted with that troublesome and distressing,
disease. Yours respectfully,
WM. WELLBORN.

Messrs Fletcher Westcott,
Gntlemen—lt affords me pleasure to give my testimony in favor of
Gallighan’s Bills. In the course of the last year 1 have given them a
lair trial, having used upwards of thirty boxes in my practice. On the
strength of what 1 had heard respecting them I was induced to prescribe
them for my patients, and in every case they proved successful. In
many instances their effect on the system was astonishing, and such as
to establish the fact that they are not only a safe, but a certain cure
for every form of intermittent fever. \Vitliin the circle of my ac
quaintance I can point to many who have been restored from a low?
stage of disease to perfect health, some of whom had been afflicted for
a very long period and considered tbeir cases hopeless. 1 am fully
convinced that the most inveterate and obstinate intermitteuts must
give way to the powerful influence of your pills, and the constitutioi ,
though broken and impaired by long-continued disease, bo speedily r<-
: tored to its former strength and healthy condition. 1 therefore recoir
mend them t« the invalid with the utmost confidence of beneficial re-.
