The inventor ask* his hi* own fellow citizen* to give the
.Illis a fair trial—pledging himself if ihey will do so. tnat they
will not fail to obtain the confidence, and prefeience of umeiy
nine uut of a hundred, oi nine hundred aud uinely-mue out
of a thousand. As an alterative, or mild aperient, for correct
ing habitual or casual torpi lily us the bowels, one pill taken
at bed tiin • is the proper dose, without the necessity of chan
ging ordinary habits of living. If <uu> should fail to produce
ihe desired effect, it is better to repeat it tor two or tlnee suc
cessive nights, than tn aid its operation by taking any thing
else.
For biiiious fever, or other acute disease requiting active
purgation, one pill repeated every hour er two. until the de
sired efl'ecl is firodnced, is the b st mode of administering them.
The subjoined certificates sufficiently attest thu efficacy of
these pills.
