Hoard of Trustees of the Cincinnati
Southern railroad, and attorney for

submitted n form fur the new lease

stitution have been giving “facts’

ing Norwood 25,000 majority, and
the Conditutimi giving Colquitt 37,.

the Constitution't figures were even
smaller than they should have
been. In the future, we shall know
where to go for “facts.” Norwood
organs have been ns reckless in their
figures as they have been in their
charges against Colquitt. The peo
ple should “sit down” upon these
organs as they have upon the mai

A. McDonald, of Ware, independ
ent candidate for Congress from
the first district, advances as one of
his claims for office that he is now
living with his third w ife, has twen
ty-seven children and twenty-eight
grand-children. If this be a test
of fitness for office, Rev. II. (’.
Tucker, of Colquitt, is entitled to
office in this district; at last ac
counts he had thirty-two children
and more than that number of
grand-children.
Three masted schooners long
since ceased to attract attention,
their usefulness having caused them
to multiply since their first intro
duction into merchant service some
years since. A four masted schoon
er is more of a rarity. One such is
now at lloston, being the first ves
sel rigged with four fore-and-aft
ails ever seen there. It appears
that she was originally designed to
have only three, and the fourth
was an afterthought. She was
launched last summer, and has
made hut two short voyages thus
far; in these, however, she has
shown good s|K*ed in all styles of
sailing. It will be interesting to
see whether the general satisfaction
with three-masters will prompt an
