It being deemed Expedient by
the Board of Directors that ano
ther Instalment of die Stock of
the Bank of the State of Georgia
should be called in, and that the
Stockholders be required to pay
a proportion thereof in specie.—
Notice is hereby given that,
greeably to a Resolution of the
Directors of this date, twenty
three per centum on each share of
the stock of the bank, is required
to be paid by the Stockholders on
or before the second Monday in
December next; thaifive dollars
in specie be paid on each share,
as part of the said twenty-three
percent, and the ballance in bills
of either of the Banks of Georgia.
! The Stockholders are further
f notified that Cashier’s Certificates
sos Stock will be issued in lieu of
the Commissioners Certificates at
the time of paying the Instalment

Chilicothe, state of Ohio, on the
night of the 4th of June last,
JAMES ESSEX, alias JAMES
ESSEX CROSBY STER
LING.
He is about 30 years of age,
five feet seven inches high, of a
fair complexion, thin visage, light
hair, large eyes, Roman nose,
large whiskers; by trade a clo
thier, can work at carding or any
employment in manufactories, &
is also expert in the sword exer
cise and boxing. He was born in
Warwickshire, in England, and
it is believed came within the last
year from Canada to this place.
The said James Essex, alias
! James Essex Crosby Sterling,
was committed to jail last January
on a charge of robbing the mail
of the U. C States —His partner
who calls himself THOMAS W
NOBLE, is now in prison on a
charge of robbing the mail at the
same time. The above reward
will be given for hts apprehension
and delivery, or confinement in
any jail of the tJ. States, so that
he can be brought to trial* I

lance remitted, without incurring
any expence, by the appointment
of an agent to transact their busi
ness for them.

petition : and probable cause ap
pearing to the Court, that the
same is lost and ought to be es
tablished ;
It is therefore ORDERED,
That at the expiration of six
month % the said receipt be es
tablished unless sufficient cause
be shewn to the contrary.—And
that a copy of this order be pub
lished in one of the public gazettes
of this state, once a month for six
months, in terms of the rules of
court in such cases made and
provided.

scriber, on the 30th day of Sep
tember last, two negroes, namely,
WALLIS & PRIMUS* WAL
LIS is a low, chunky negro, well
set, and shows his teeth a good
deal; and it is probable will alter
his name. PRIMUS is a tolera
bly likely negro, not very tall
one of his feet has been nearly
half split open by wound—and
the other foot has been badly cut,
and the big toe not well when he
went away.—The above reward
will be paid for both or ten dollars
each, if delivered to me on the
Warrenton Road, about ten miles
from Louisville, or confined in a
ny Jail in the state so that I get
them, or either of them.
