pie, that he has discevered a very easy
mode of assisting those who are hard of
Hearing. ‘
Knowing that Providence has permit,
tdd a remedy to grow for every disease 1
he has made it his .study, this number
of years past, to try to find out this re
medy. .
At length he Setters himself of be
ing successful, more so, than any other
man yet.
The remedy generally gives help, ex*
cept to very old people who begin to
lose their eye sight, about the time that
the hearing becomes weakened. To all
others, it M yet has seldom failed of
restoring that great blessing of hear
ing. 1

sent to the!patient by post or otherwise,
to any plate, however, distant- At the
same time, it may he somewhat satisfao
tory to thqse distressed to know that
they may pursue their usual business,
and to eat and drink what tastes best.

of a promissory note given to him
oy one Wilson Brooks dated on thedOtli
day of September, 1816, a>d payable
on or before the twenty fifth day of
December, eighteen hundred and nine*
teen, foi the sum of one hundred an#
eighty three dollars to be paid in cur*
rent bills—which original note is lost
pr mislaid so that it cannot now bo
found, and that a copv of said note ao
near as can be recollected, together
with an affidavit of its existence, and also
an affidavituf its loss are filed in tho
Clerks office of said court, and praying
the establishment of said copy in lieu ot
the original.
On motion of counsel for the petition*
