this is a specimen.

three dollars per annum, one hall
to be paid at the time of subscribing,
and liie balance at the expiration of
the year.
No subscription will be received for

from year to year, unless ordered to

4, Advertisements will be charged
sixty-three cents per square for the
first publication, and forty-two fer
each succeeding, and in the same por

mond Academy, was opened under the
direction of the Rev. A. Boage, as Rec
tor, and the Rev. J. Holcombe, as first
English Teacher. A Writing Master
is expee’ed, we understand, in a short
time. The rates of Tuition are the
same as heretofore—the hours of in
struction at this season are from half
past eight to twelve, and from half past
two to six.
