Today 1/ A
For the week of February 15-21:
ARIES (March 21 April 20) You may get to choose something
which makes you very proud and happy/Fine, but remember the
foregoing paragraph and don’t just be grabby. You are in love but
you recognize limits. When you can take advantage of a person,
your love dims and you make use of the person instead of
continuing to love.
TAURUS (April 21-May 20) You may have to take some
medication for an allergy that could have undesirable results.
Don’t dwell on this, just do as the doctor orders. If married;your
lifemate will help you remember. Don’t look upon this as
nagging. You will have many invitations to keep this week. Try to
go to all of them.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21) Good shopping for clothes which
you love and for trying new hair styles. Experiment a little and
you can be very' pleased with results. Try just a bit of tint for
your hair, too; it can make quite a big difference.
CANCER (June 22-July 22) Major things may happen in the
-family. A teenager may take a job you/ don’t approve of, if you
have such a child. Your lifemate may encourage a child in all that
you think might be harmful. Remember, the young have to learn.
LEO (July 23—August 23) Your lifemate can say “no” when you
have a special request to make. This is too bad but you will take
it graciously, at least on the outside. You thought it was an
excellent chance but can become resigned.
VIRGO (August 24—September 22) It is possible you will fall in
-love very swiftly and unexpectedly. You may not_ think of
anyone else but yourself in this relationship. You need to cure
yourself of trying to get things just your way and consider others
involved.
LIBRA (September 23-October 22) In romantic matters tensions
can arise. In marriage there may be the commencement of a long
separation. It is best to make no changes in romance or marriage
at this time.
SCORPIO (October 23-November 22) You can be indisposed
most of the days of this week. It can be an effect of the weather,
and you may find many people feeling the same way as you do.
It’s very difficult to get interested in anything.
SAGITTARIUS (November 23- December 21) Make an effort to
get along better with your lifemate. You incline to put all blame
on others now and not to give any thought to your own strong
will which has usually won its way. You just view your kindliness
and love, not your times of domineering and oppression.
a short story about
beards and bumps
How To Help Eliminate and Prevent Razor Bumps
Men shave in different ways because they have different beards and
different types of hair:

Straight hair, wavy and curly hair can be shaved with a blade or elec
tric razor. Shaving very curly hair (common among Black men) may
require another way to avoid ‘‘razor bumps
Papule (bump) Diagram “D” shows what can happen when hair
v is very curly. This hair comes through the skin’s

enters the skin, forming an "ingrown hair.” A

WHAT’S THE ANSWER? For over 70 years Black Americans have been
using Magic Shaving Powder (depilatory) instead of a razor. It actually
“dissolves” hair rather than cutting it. It doesn’t leave sharp tips on
the hair it removes. And when used properly it gets them all. So it
helps eliminate and prevent razor bumps.
No matter what formula you choose they are all fine products —the

Shave Skin Conditioner. It's especially formulated for depilatory users.

CAPRICORN (December 22-January 20) You may be changing
your style of living but find everything harmonious. You may
acquire a delightful little pet, perhaps a puppy of the cockapoo
type. This can give endless hours of pleasure and enjoyment of
your own affection for soft little animals.
AQUARIUS (January 21-February 19) Buy clothes but don’t let
temptation go too far in stocking your wardrobe with things you
can’t possibly wear very often, Also, it is best not to buy
anything strictly for winter. The spring season is coming closer
and next month you’ll know it.
PISCES (February 20-March 20) You can become rather
snobbish during this cycle. It can show up in various ways-guest
lists for entertainment, speech to some old friend met by chance,
and the like. You feel you want to make a whole new life and
want to choose very carefully who will be good and true friends.

Fisk Basebailers
'Giant Killers?’
For Fisk University’s Head
Coach, Wayne Moore, this
could be a wait and see season
or his baseball team could
acquire the label, the “giant
killer,” whatever, his
pre-season optimism seemed to
be intermingled with a little
pessimism. In other words,
anything can happen.
Since his arrival here at Fisk
three years ago it’s been an
up-hill climb for his teams.
Last season his team reached a
pinnacle by winning more
games than they lost with a
record of 20-13. That feat gave
his team the best won-lost
record in Fisk’s recent history.
In the previous two years his
teams posted a 9-13 record in

1972 and a 11-13 record in
1973.
Even though his schedule is
loaded with powerful teams,
Coach Moore believes this puts
his team in the big leagues of
small college baseball. The
Bulldogs are scheduled to play
SEC Champion, Vanderbilt;
District 24 Champion, David
Lipscomb; VS AC Champion,
Belmont; and the SIAC
Champion, Tuskegee.
One of the best pitchers in
the conference, Coach Moore
believes, is in his pitching
arsenal, Henry Adams. With
Adams, outfielder, Gary
Coleman, and catcher, Hibbert
Witiker, the Bulldogs could be
a formidable lot.
