GREATER MT. CANAAN
HONORS PASTOR
IRVIN
The Reverend Nathaniel
Irvin will be honored Sunday,
Feb. 16, at 2:30 p.m. for 16
years of leadership and
dedicated service for the
advancement of gospel
preaching and Christian
education.
Reverend Sylvester Nabritt
and the choir of the Mount
Pleasant Baptist Church will be
in charge of services.
The Reverend Irvin has,'
initiated many programs which
have proven to be very
successful for the church and
community such as - Bible
study groups which involve
about 75 students and 18
adults, active scouting
programs, Prayer Bands
designed for the young and
old, coordinated educational
and enrichment tours.
In addition to initiating and
participating in programs, he
has rendered many services in
the area of guidance and
counseling.

MEMORIAL
In loving memory of Mrs.
Maggie Mathews who died Feb.
17, 1974.
They say time leds all
sorrow,
And helps us to forget,
But time so far has only
proved,
How much we miss you yet.
We think of you in silence.
No one may see us weep,
But many silent tears are
shed,
While others are asleep.
Some may forget, now that 1
you are gone,
But we will remember, no
matter how long.

Mrs. Annie Bell McDaniel,
daughters; and grandchildren
