Olympics
The Richmond County
Recreation and Parks
Department is hosting the
Small-Fry Olympics on
Sept. 29 at Fleming
Complex, 1951 Lumpkin
Road from 10 a.m. to 2
p.m. Children, ages 3-5 are
invited to come join the
fun.
Pre-registration is
required. Rgistration forms
may be obtained from the
Recreation Dept. 2027
Lumpkin Road. The
deadline for registration is
Friday, Sept. 25th.

first Girls Powder Puff
Football League.
This
program will be held in

season will run

of October to the middle of
November. The age
divisions will be 8-12 years

the Kellogg Institute for
Developmental Education in
Higher Education at
Appalachian State
University in Boone, N.C.
and received certification as
a Developmental
Specialist.
The institute
emphasized students
olds and 13-15 year olds.
Registration will be
held Sept. 8 at the
Fleming Youth Center from
1 p.m. - 5 p.m. The
registration fee is $5.

Mrs. Everett is one of
three educators in Georgia
who has received
certification. There are only
