Two very pleasant social entertain
ments have been given during th**
past week by the ladles of tho Bap
tist and Methodist churches respect
ively. The Baptist ladies had for
their gu<*8ts Misses Hays, Tremier and
Seabloom who gave an Interesting ac
count of the work done and the needs
of the Hays Mission. The Methodist
ladies entertained their guests with
u pleasant literary and musical pro
gram. Mrs. Hogg made an earnest
and eloquent appeal in behalf of For
eign Missions and the solos given by
Mrs. T. H. Bhellman and Miss Prairie
Harris were enjoyed by all present.
The ladles of both denominations
served delicious light refreshments.
Those fortunate enough to enjoy the
hospitality of these ladles left with
the hope that these meetings would be
of frequent occurrence.
