The bride is one of Cedurtown's
most attractive young ladies, while
Mr. Campbell 1r one of Rockmart's
most excellent young men. They wore
the recipients of many valuable and
useful presents, as well as a heavy
shower of rice, old shoes and other
tokens of good wishes as they made
their departure.

The wedding of Miss Corrle Mor
gan and Mr. Benj. Fisher was solem
nized last Wednesday evening al the
Methodist church, and was a brilliant
social event. The ceremony was per
formed by Rev. O. L. Kelly, of Law-
renceville, and the attendants were
Misses Bessie Morgan, Ina Bacon and
Ruby JohnBton and Messrs. Lonnie
Roboson, Jus. F. Dover and Barclay
Morgan. The wedding march was
played by Mrs. T. E. McBryde, ac
companied by the Messrs. Bidez with
thd cornet n 0 trombone. Immedi
ately after the ceremony the happy
couple left for their future home at
Huntsville, Ala.
Miss Odessa Hunt, of Cedartown,
was the guest last week of Miss An
nie/ Williamson.
Miss Nettle Simpson visited rel-
tlves In Cedartown last week.
Mr. I. M. Brantley, of Buchanan,
was here Thursday. His many friends
are glad to know that he is about to
move back to Rockmart.

It appearing to the Court by the
petition of The Commercial Bank of
Cedartown, that on the 31st day of
July, 1907, E. Boyd executed and de
livered to said petitioner a mortgage
on tho following described land, to-
wit:
One city lot on Clio street with Im
provements thereon known as lot No.
14, block 7, and one city lot on Mari
etta street known as lot No. 61, both
being In city of Cedartown, Ga., for
the purpose of securing the payment
of the following described promissory
note: A certain note for the sum of
$200 dated July 3lst, 1906, due Jan.
2nd, 1907, with Interest at the rate of
eight per cent per annum from mi t-
urlty, said note containing and sot-
ling a mortgage upon the described
real estate, upon which said prom s-
sory note there Is claimed to be due
the sum of $100, as principal, with In
terest thereon at the rate of 8 per
cent per annum since the 1st day of
July,1907, and also 10 per cent on said
principal and interest for attorneys’
