church held an important meeting Sun

torate here. Mr. Reed recently re
signed the pastorate of t he church at
Decatur, and is now successfully en
gaged in special evangel!.tic work.
Mr. Reed recently visited Cedar-
town at the invitation of the church

pression that it was decided to ask
him to be with us permanently. He
is a splendid pulpit orator, and a
gentleman of pleasing personality.
Dr. Henderson's pastorate will ex
pire Jan. 1st, at whi di time it la j
expected that Mr. Retd will take
charge.

Fellows. The brethren were out in j
full force, and the.spread was a big 1
one.
The lodge had as a welcome visitor ■
for this occasion Mr. Thos. Hill, of 1
Dalton, the Deputy Grand Master fori
this district, and after the supper he j
exemplified the degree work and gave ;
an interesting address.
The Odd FelloWs have one of the j
most prosperous fraternal organiza
tions in this section, and such gather
ings as that of last Thursday evening
are pleasant links in the chain of fel
lowship that binds them together.
