Why Easter is a “movable” Feast.
During ail of March the sun is
coming farther north . About the
twentieth it shines directly on
the equator, and the day is just
as long as the night. The time
of the old Jewish Passover, and
h«-uce, of our Easter, depends on
this date, This latter always
comes on the Sunday following
the first full moon after the sun
crosses the line. This accounts
for its being so “movable ’ a feast.

A Printer Greatly Surprised.
“I never was so much surprised
in mv ^f e? as I was with the re-

Balln , ’ says Henry T. Crook,
pressman of the Asheville,( N 0)
Gazette. “I contracted a severe
case of rheumatism early last wiu-
ter by getting my feet wet. I
tried several things for it without
benefit. One day while looking
over the Gazette, 1 noticed that
Pain Balm was positively guar-
anteed to cure rheumatism,
bought a bottle of it and
using two thirds of it my rheu¬
matism had taken its flight and 1
have not had a rheumatic

Against Berrien County
Secretary Cook Upholds the Ward-
roper Survey.
Atlanta, Feb. 25.—Secretary
of -date Phil Cook to-day decided
against Berrien county inthedis-
puo'd County line with Coffee
county. There were about eight
lots of laud of 190 acres each in
dispute. Trouble arose over the
fact that people avoided prosecu¬
tion for crime and avoided eterv-
ing on juries on account of the
doubt as to which county they
lived in. Gov. Candler appoint¬
ed D. L. Ward roper to make a
survey, and Secretary Cook’s de¬
cision sustain* the survey, The
act of Dec. 13, 1858, provides that
the WillacoocHee river, from its
junction with the Allapaha, shall
be the substantial boundary line
between Berrien and Coffee eoun-
ties, and it was. principally upon
this that Secretary Cook based
his decision. Coffee gets the
.
4,300 acres of land under this de-;
cision that formerly paid taxes iti

before the last legislature, ear¬

conceived to be to the best inter¬
est of his constituency and his
friends expect to see his positions
endorsed at the primary.
Col. E. P. S. Denmark, candi¬

afternoon in town renewing old
acquaintances and making new
ones. Mr. J. T. Wilkes, one of
our most representative business
men, took Mr. Denmark in charge
and presented him to our citizens.
We have heard many kind ex¬
pressions in behalf of his candi¬

Clerk’s Wise Suggestion.
“I have lately been much troub¬
led with dyspepsia, belching and
sour stomach,” writes M. S. Mead
leading pharmacist of Attleboro,
Mass, “I could hardly eat any-
thing without sufferiug several
hours. My clerk suggested I
try Kodol Dyspepsia Cure which
I did with most happy results. I
have had no more trouble and
when one can go to eating mince
pie, cheese, candy and nuts after
such a time, their digestion must
be pretty good. I endorse Kodol
Dyspepsia Cure heartily.” You
don't have to diet. Eat all the
good food ycu want but don’t o-
verload the stomach. Kodol
Dyspepsia Cure digests your food.
