Fight With a Rabid Dog.
Sparks. Ga., May 5.—Mr. F. N. Grif-
fin, a farmer who lives about 8 miles

phobia, on Saturday morning
Mr. Griffin’s son had a gun to shoot the
dog when the animal attacked hi, father
from him when the dog mide the attack.
Mr. Griffin is a large man, but he had

A slight discussion of the organization
of the public school system for the towu
was entered into and on motion duly
seconded, council adjourned to meet a-
gaiu on Wednesday afternoon; May 14
at t hree o’clock for a farther discussion
of this and any other business that may
be properly presented.
