Butler Garden Club
Celebrates Garden Week
In Georgia And Welcomes
Dena Wadsworth
April 19-25 is Garden Week in Georgia and what better way
for the Butler Garden Club to celebrate than by welcoming
a new member, Dena Wadsworth. Members of the club are
being responsible citizens and sheltering in place. This
“quiet time ,f has given the members a chance to assess and
work in their gardens and appreciate the beauty of our
world. April 22 is Earth Day, and members are involved in
protecting our planet through legislation and action. It is
a jam packed week, so join the Butler Garden Club in
making the most of it, whether you are planting, pruning,
mowing, harvesting, watching and feeding the birds, iden
tifying pollinators, or relaxing on the porch.
Big Bass!
While sheltering in place, Taylor Countians are finding
time to enjoy the great outdoors. Jeff Rohrer recently caught
the “biggest bass he's ever caught* with a fly rod! Jeffs wife,
Jenny, said, “We've had a lot more time to do same fishing
la tely ”
Quarantined - Two Alone
We're both stuck here in this Pandemic-
Staying In now is the New Epidemic.
My Hair's getting long; Her’s needs color
We both have tummies ever more fuller.
But we do work together and get things done;
Who knew cooking and cleaning was so much fun?
She cooks and bakes and fixes new dishes,
I eat them all and bow to her wishes.
Gas is cheap (they say) but we've nowhere to go-
Just hangin' close and livin' slow.
I do take morning walks in our neighborhood
Nothin’ to get into,,..so I gotta he good.
We both like to read and do a clevotion-
Wash our hands and use a lot of lotion...
Practicing social distancing and staying apart,
Loving each other more with all of our heart.
