erf.mce to the sale of fluids,
enacted by the town council of
Bowersville, seems id have stirred
up tli<' citizens of tHat place. The
council hastens to explain that
the word “♦ntc'xrcatinK” was tinin-
tont-ionaliy emitted Before “fluids
by their secrotary, and begs that

correct any false impressions that
may have befn produced by sucli
articles.
As corrected the ordinance pro¬
hibits tho sale in Bowersville of
“rice beer, Aider hop soda, hitter®,
or other stimulants or intoxicating
fluids, except standard patent
medicines' which contain only
medicinal
