Dr. Gale, a former resident of
Toccoa but now of Brunswick,paid
his friends a visjt here this^ week.
The doctor is doing well in the
practice of his profession,dentistry,
at Brunswick.
Rev. Albert Safford and wife of
Demorest, parents of Mrs. W. A.
Fowler, were the guests of the Ed¬
itor’s family the latter part of last
week, Mrs. Safford will remain
in Toccoa a week or so. Miss Jar¬
vis, who has been Mrs Fowler’s
guest for the past month returned
home with Mr. Safford Sunday
evening.
Cliff and Paul Matheson took in
the exposition and the Midway a
day or so this week.
Col. J. B. Jones and wife took
in the exposition last week.
Rev. E. A. Keese was in the
city Monday.
Fred Wilson was up from At¬
lanta Sunday visiting tbe borne
folks.
Rev. H. C. Fennel preached at
Clarke*ville 8unday and Sunday
afternoon at Porter’s Factory to
large congregations.
Miss Lula Wheeler has been
sick for some time, but we are glad
to state is improving fast.
