Lee County Primary School Good Workers

other words, just a real pleasure

The following students were

terested in puppetry, workshops
will be held on Saturday after
noons at 2:00 PM at the Lee
County Library (Leesburg Li
brary) during the months of No
vember and December.
Beginning with a puppet mak
ing workshop and ending with a
performance, children will par
ticipate in every facet of produc
ing a puppet show.
Sponsored by the Lee County
Library and funded, in part by a
Grassroots Art Program grant
from the Georgia Council for the
Arts, all programs are free and
open to the public.
Because of a limited availably
of materials, participants are
asked to register for the program
at the Leesburg or Smithville Li
braries or call 759-2369.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
AMENDMENT TO THE LEE COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES ZONING
- ( Z01 -023) Lee County staff is submitting a petition to the Lee
County/Leesburg/Smithville Planning Commission to amend the
Lee County Code of Ordinances, Zoning Section, to allow a one
time split of farmland request to be approved administratively.
TEXT AMENDMENT TO THE LEE COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES
LAND DEVELOPMENT (LD01-A030) Lee County staff is submitting a
petition of the Lee County/Leesburg/Smithville Planning Commis
sion to amend the Lee County Code of Ordinances, Land Devel
opment Section, to complete the mandatory updates to the Soil
Erosion and Sedimentation Prevention Ordinance.
TEXT AMENDMENT TO THE LEE COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES
LAND DEVELOPMENT (LD01-A031) Lee County staff is submitting a
petition of the Lee County/Leesburg/Smithville Planning Commis
sion to amend the Lee County Code of Ordinances, Land Devel
opment Section, to update Article IX Section 38-373 establishing
requirements for dumpsfer pads.
TEXT AMENDMENT TO THE LEE COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES
CERTIFICATES OF OCCUPANCY ORDINANCE (LD01-A032) Lee
County staff is submitting a petition of the Lee County/Leesburg/
Smithville Planning Commission to amend the Lee County Code of
Ordinances, Certificafes of Occupancy Section, to complete to
amend the procedure for issuing certificates of occupancy and
connecting utilities.
Exact legal descriptions of the above amendments are on file at
the Lee County Planning Commission Office, 108 Leslie Highway,
and may be reviewed along with any other information regarding
these requests between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through
Friday.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lee County/Leesburg/Smithville
Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on these re
quests at its regular meeting on Tuesday October 23, 2001 at 7:00
PM in the Administration Building assembly room in Leesburg, Geor
gia.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lee County Board of Commis
sioners will conduct a public hearing on these cases, at its work
shop meeting on Monday November 5, 2001 at 6:00 PM in the
Administration Building assembly room in Leesburg, Georgia.
Meetings of the Planning Commission and the County Commission
are open to the public.
NOTE:
Georgia Low requires that all parties who have made campaign contributions
to any member of the Board of Commissioners/City Council in excess of two
hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) within two (2) years immediately preceding
the filing of this request, who desire to appear at the public hearing in opposi
tion or support of the application, shall, at least five (5) days prior to the public
hearing, file a campaign contribution report with the Lee County/Leesburg/
Smithville Planning Commission.
