I asked her Friday what
she wanted to do on our

air & built an oak fire in
the fire place, popped
popcorn & watched the
3 stooges. A great

1 believe near all were in town. A
very happy crowd of people.
The Bass slowed a little bit the
first part of the week but showed
they seifs Wednesday. Mr.
Barfield had one at 8 lbs and 8
others. Mr. Hill had one at 6 lbs;
Trogdon again hit a limit of Bass.
Mr. McGeehan hit a 7 lb. Bass
and a Striper at 14.4 oz. He is
from Albany or Leesburg. There
were other catches that slipped by
me but them I can't count.
The wend blew so hard Thurs
day, I went top water fishen but it
was so hard outa the southeast till
my bait jist staid up in the air. It
blowed pecans off the trees &
they went slam across the fields
outa site, never did hit the ground.
Them perch is still taken bait ole
Sarge Hadley & Denver Faircloth
took 60 with one at 2 1/4 lbs. A
couple from up north fished 3 1/
2 days with Guide Randy Weaver.
They took their limits most days
& took 2 home to be mounted. A
big 2 3/4 & a 3 1/4 lbs. Perch.
2 ole boys was out looken for
somewhere to strech shirtails in
no guess places. They saw Blugil
in 4 ft. of water. Went to the land,
put up the nets, bought crickets
& loaded up with Blugil.
There is a thermacline at 6 ft.
deep. That is why the Bream and
Perch is so shallow, wildlife is a
wee bit upset. Trees, shrubs & nut
trees is a bit off season. Also, so
is me!
