presented by Sean Driscoll on
March 9. 2002 at 3:00 PM at the
Leesburg Library. Free and open
to the public, the program is spon
sored by the Lee County Library
and the Friends of the Lee County

Sean Driscoll performs regu
larly throughout the Eastern
United States in radio, television,
schools, concert and festival set
tings. He was selected for Artist
in Residency programs in Geor
gia, Florida, and South Carolina.
Driscoll reaches thousands of
children and adults each year
through workshops and perfor
mances. His stories include origi
nal works as well as folk tales
from around the world. Driscoll
plays a variety of instruments in
cluding the classical guitar, banjo,
mandolin, dulcimer, Indian flute,
digeridoo, bodrhan, drums and
many other instruments from cul
tures around the world.
“It's Your Lucky Day" will fea
ture Celtic stories, magic and toe
tapping sing-along songs. Magi
cal tricks include a mischievous
disappearing leprechaun and a tea
kettle that pours a rainbow. Sean
Driscoll's performances include
lots of audience participation.
Listeners interact by singing
songs, helping with the magic
tricks, and playing instruments to
accompany stories.

Re- Test March 5-6, 2002
Lee County High School will
administer a retest for the Writ
ing portion of the Georgia High
School Graduation Test on March
5,2002. On March 6. students
who were absent will be admin
istered the make-up. The follow
ing categories of students should
be tested:
1. Students who are re-testers
(who have failed previous admin
istrations of the GHSWT);
2. Fall 11th graders who missed
the October administration of the
GHSWT (absentees), and for
3. 11th and 12th graders who
enrolled after the fall administra
tion of the GHSWT.
4. Eligible students also include
those who have left school with
a High School Certificate or Spe
cial Education diploma.
Students needing to retest
should pre-register with the coun
selors as Lee County High
School.

James Berrian, charged with
deposit account fraud, was sen
tenced to 12 months in jail to be
served on supervised probation
and payment of a fine of $175.00
and restitution of $69.45.
Thomas Bell Brown, Jr.,
charged with deposit account
fraud, posted a cash bond of
$297.66.
David A. Carrington, charged
with deposit account fraud,
posted a cash bond of $327.63.
Grey Little, charged with two
counts of deposit account fraud,
posted cash bonds of $221.41 and
$217.56.
Randall G. Paul, charged with
eight counts of deposit account
fraud, was sentenced to 96
months in jail to be served on su
pervised probation with payment
of a $800.00 fine and restitution
of $433.60.
Lamanda F. Williams, charged
with two counts of deposit ac
count fraud, had the cases con
tinued to the March 5, 2002 term
of court.
