"Well make sure it's not quality. Well
make sure it's only affordable." Joe Biden
speaks on his proposed national health plan.
But Joe, can we keep our doctors?
Is Albany starting to get concerned about
its state of affairs? About time.
There's a new conservative news aggre
gator available now at thelibertydaily.com,
check it out.
FYI, if you have dropped your kids off
at either TOES or LCMS W before school
starts, then you are in a posted school zone
of 25 m.p.h. when you leave the school. It's
crazy how many people I see flying through
the area, including educators and other
school personnel. There are signs on both
ends of Smithville Road with posted hours.
Clearly they aren't working, maybe it's time
for flashing lights or the police to patrol
the area more f requency.
According to the 2019-2020 Georgia
Driving Handbook, you are prohibited to
stop on railroad tracks. I thought this was
common knowledge but I guess not. Almost
every morning I see people stopping on the
tracks. Are these people ignorant of the
laws or do they just have a death wish?
Kate Scarmalis' opinion of those opposed
to President Trump is kinder than mine. I
say some people are just evil.
Common Courtesy
You arrive 10 min. early for your doctor's
appointment. Other people are in the wait
ing room and only one doctor. Your time
comes and goes. You ask the lady at the
desk and she says he is running late. Why
can’t they stop their conversation to tell
us he is late but that would stop their gab
session.
Can anyone tell me why Nesbit Road has
not been paved. I have lived on this road
33 years and put up with dust and mud. It
was widened to be paved but never hap
pened. My husband keeps ditches cleared
and mowed and put in work orders with no
response.
Looks like the commissioners are prepar
ing to expand recreation. Have they con
ducted a needs assessment to determine
what is really needed?
"Freedom brings men rudely and directly
face to face with their own personal re
sponsibility for their own free actions." -
Frank Meyer
God did not offer a full and complete par
don for sins. Forgiveness, yes, but that is
not the same as a pardon. He died so that
we could be redeemed but he didn't do it
for free. You must repent, deny yourself,
take up your cross, and follow Him. There
must be Atonement and the person who
rejected the stay of execution knew he was
guilty and chose to take the punishment.
An Albany Herald Squawkbox comment
"I promise you we can live without guns" is
absolute ignorance. Every country that has
ever disarmed it's citizens has committed
genocide against some segment of the pop
ulation. Over 180 million killed in the 20th
century. America's founding fathers gave
citizens the 2nd Amendment to control gov
ernment and prevent foreign invasion.
The last major recreational thing the
county did put the taxpayers on the hock
for untold thousand of dollars for a failed
golf course. Please don’t do that again.
"Conservatives pride themselves on re
sisting change, which is as it should be.
But intelligent deference to tradition and
stability can evolve into intellectual sloth
and moral fanaticism, as when conserva
tives simply decline to look up from dogma
because the effort to raise their heads and
reconsider is too great." - William F. Buck-
ley
