Qualifying of candidates for the
November 2, 2021 General Municipal
Election will be held in the
Leesburg City Hall, located at
107 Walnut Avenue North, Leesburg.
Qualifying will begin
Monday, August 16th and
will continue through
Friday, August 20th
during the hours of 8:30 AM until
4:30 PM Monday through Thursday
and 8:30 AM until 1:00 PM Friday.
Qualifying fees are as follows:
Mayor $108.00
City Council (Post 1,2 and 3) $ 54.00

Baptist Church on the Road
The “Happy Hearts”
of First Baptist Church,
Leesburg have been on
the road. Tuesday, July
13th, they traveled to
Montezuma, Georgia.
They had lunch at Yo
der’s Restaurant. Some
came home with some
delicious sweets from
the bakery.
From there they went
to William Brown Farm
Market and enjoyed
some delicious home
made ice cream. Some
came home with fresh
peaches, watermelons,
squash, peas, corn and
other fruits and vegeta
bles that are in season.
