James Earl Bass
James Earl Bass, 56,
of Lee Co., GA passed
away Tuesday, May 24,
2022 at his residence.
Memorial services
were conducted Thurs
day, May 26, 2022 at
Mathews Funeral Home.
He was born in Sumter
Co. and graduated from
Southland Academy
before joining the U.S.
Coast Guard. He worked
for a time with the U.S.
Postal Service. His
favorite job he ever had
was working along with
his father and brothers at
Bass Service Station.
James Earl cherished
his family and was a
devoted husband, father,
and grandfather. He
loved his Lord and Sav
ior, Jesus Christ and was
always willing to share
his beliefs with others.
He loved helping out
his fellow man and was
always willing to help
anyone with a problem.
He was always willing
to help a person in need;
it didn’t matter if you
were family, life-long
friends or someone he
just met in the Lowe’s
parking lot. He never
wanted anything in
return except for the
person to pass it on. So,
if you knew James Earl
or just heard about him,
if you want to do some
thing for the family, do a
good deed for someone
whether you know them
or not.
He was preceded in
death by his father,
Ray Bass, his brother,
Cooper Ray Bass, Jr.,
and sisters-in-law, Kim
Robins and Tammy
O’Quinn.
Survivors include his
wife, Pam Bass, Lee Co.,
GA, son, Caleb E. Bass

Tonia Denise Davis,
52 of Leesburg, GA,
passed from this life into
the waiting arms of her
Savior Jesus Christ on
May 14,2022.
Born March 31, 1970
in Elba Alabama, Tonia
was the loving, and car
ing daughter of Tommy
and Faye Sanders. She
lived a wonderful life in
Leesburg, GA and raised
a beautiful family in Lee
County. Her children
will always remember
her as a soft spoken,
spiritual, and kind
loving mother and Nana
to her grandkids. She
enjoyed nature which
led her to her new hobby
of gardening, but most
of all she enjoyed every
second of every day she
spent with her family,
friends, and grandchil
dren.
Tonia was preceded
in death by her mother

survived by her children

Alice Rabon Harrell,
77, of Leesburg, GA,
died May 22, 2022 at
her residence. Graveside
funeral services were
held Thursday, May 26,
2022 at Leesburg Ceme
tery. Rev. Charles Jones
officiated.
Alice was born on June
30, 1944 to Ed and An
nie Rabon in Albany and
attended Albany High
School. She married
Gene Harrell in 1961
and she was a mother,
wife, homemaker and
was also employed with
The Albany Herald.
Alice enjoyed her role as
a homemaker and taking
care of her grandkids. In
addition to her parents,
she was preceded in
death by her husband,
Charles Eugene Harrell,
a son Chris Harrell, and
a brother, Carl Rabon.
Survivors include her
daughter, Pam Johnson
of Leesburg, GA, her
siblings, Tommy Rabon
of Colquitt County, GA
and Louise (Sam) Clark
of Worth County, GA, a
daughter-in-law, Don
na Williams of Sasser,
GA, her grandchildren,

Timothy Wayne
Crossno
Timothy Wayne Cross
no, 56, of Leesburg, GA,
passed away Friday, May
13, 2022, due to a motor
vehicle accident.
Tim was born in Key
West, Florida, the 5th
child of 7, to Bill and
Pauline Crossno, a
military family stationed
there. He graduated
from Canon City High
School in Canon City,
Colorado, then, joined
the Army National
Guard for two years
before joining the Navy.
He retired from the
Navy after 20 years as
an Aviation Electronics
Technician Petty Officer
1st Class. After his Naval
retirement, he worked
at Cooper Tire for two
years before going to
work at the MarJne Corp
Logistic Base as an
Electronic Technician
in 2007, where he has
worked ever since.
While in the Navy, Tim
was awarded several
medals and commenda
tions, including, Global
War on Terrorism Expe
ditionary Medal, 4 Navy
Achievement Medals,
Coast Guard Meritorious
Unit Commendation, 5
Good Conduct Medals,
as well as many other
accolades and commen
dations.
He was preceded in
death by his parents, Bill
and Pauline Crossno,
his baby sister Kimber
ly (Collins), his niece
Christa Crossno, all of
Colorado, and his great
nephew John Pruitt of
Georgia.
He is survived by his
two children, son Tyler
E Crossno of Law-
renceville, GA, and his
daughter, Taylor E Pico
(Johnny) and grandson
Jett Pico, of Bastrop, TX.
He is also survived by
his sister, Sandra Lin-
ville of Leesburg, GA,
brothers Steve, Bryon
and Andrew Crossno, of
Colorado, brother Jeffrey
Crossno, of Oklahoma,
three nephews, Sean
Crossno of Colorado,
Robert and Michael
Crossno of Oklahoma,
seven nieces, Desiree,
Makayla, Sarah, Mary
and Emilee of Colorado,

of Georgia, Amie (Wes)

well as seven great niec

Richey worked for Ox
ford for 39 years where
he was a supervisor at
the Asphalt Plant. He
was a loving father and
caring husband and just
an all around loving
person.

Ouida was the youngest
of six children.
Ouida retired from
the MCLB in 1987 after
33 years. She was the
Supervisor of Disburse
ments. Ouida was a
“Rosie the Rivetter”
during WWII at Turner
Airforce Base. Ouida
was a member of the
National Society of the
Sons and Daughters of
the Pilgrims. As long as
she was able she attend
ed the Thronateeska
Chapter of the Daugh
ters of the American
Revolution.
She was preceded in
death by her husband,

ters, Susan Thompson
Lawton, Janet Thomp
son Webb, her parents,
three sisters: Edna
Blaise, Toy Curran,
