TRAIN STRIKES WAGON.

bound Western and Atlantic railroad
train al the town of Tunnel Hill, com

Fatal Auto Accident.
It. A. Sperman, a prominent citi
zen. who lived near Lowell, was run
over and killed by an automobile
driven by Otis Scott, a young man of
Bowdon. The accident occurred a:
the fair grounds, where the Fourth
District Agricultural and Manufactur
ers’ fair is now being held. Mr. Sper
man was about 65 years of age and
was well known.
Asks $1,000,000 for Postoffice.
Representative Edwards, of the
First Georgia District, has introduced
a bill to appropriate $1,000.00 for a
site and postoffice building in Savati
nail, and another bill to appropriate
$250,000 to enlarge ami remodel the
present post office.

therefore all Trustees arc requested
to inquire if a teacher has license
before electing and recomending
him to the Board of Education.

it is greatly to be hoped that the
Trustees can arrange with the pa
trons to have a private month be
fore Christmas. Will you not be
willing to do this for the benefit of
your childrenf
