Saved Girl’s Life
“I want to tell you what wonderful benefit I have re
ceived from the use of Thedford’s Black-Draught,” writes
Mrs. Sylvania Woods, of Clifton Mills, Ky.
‘‘lt certainly has no equal for la grippe, bad colds,
liver and stomach troubles. 1 firmly believe Black-Draught
saved my little girl’s life. When she had the measles,
they went in on her, but one good dose of Thedford’s
Black-Draught made them break out, and she has had no
more trouble. I shall never be without
K, THEDFORD'S
BLack-DraugHT
in my home.” For constipation, indigestion, headache, dizzi
ness, malaria, chills and fever, biliousness, and all similar
ailments, Thedford’s Black-Draught has proved itself a safe,
reliable, gentle and valuable remedy.
If you suffer from any of these complaints, try Black-
Draught. It is a medicine of known merit Seventy-five
years of splendid success proves its value. Good for

Atlanta, Georgia:
BANKS COUNTY JOURNAL HOMER, GA.,
The Southern Railways
Fine Management
Atlanta, Ua., May 19, With the
handling of 48 special trains into
Atlanta and 35 special train* out,
liearing Shriners who attended the
annual meeting of the Imperial
Council of the Ancient Arabic
Order, and in addition many extra
sections of regular trains and extra
equipment on all regular trains,
all without an accident of any kind
and on practically schedule time,
the Horn hern Kail way has just
completed the largest passenger
movement in its history and what
is believed to have been one of the
most successfully handled move
inents ever accomplished by any
Ameiican railway.
Arrangements for the departure
of the special trains were so ar
ranged that this was accomplished
absolutely without congestion or
confusion and as the result of the
protection given by the large force
of special officers which the South
ern had on duty at the Atlanta
Terminal Station and at places
where cars were parked, not a single
robbery or attempt at robl>cry was
reported. The parking places
were occupied by 150 Pullman cars
in which let ween 3,000 and 4,000
Shriners lived while in Atlanta,be
ing given every comfort and con
venience afforded by the most
modem hotels.
These results could only have
been secured by a railway system
with and adequate plant andeflici
cut organization and they followed
the most careful planning, extend
ing over months, and alwolute at
tention to every detail when the
plans were being carried out.
Every special train was accompa
uied by an operating ofiicer and a
passingor representative and the
crew of every train was personally
inspected by division and general
officers before going on the run.
The entirely satisfactory handling
of this extraordinarily large move
meut to Atlanta by the Southern
Railway should aid all Southern
cities in their efforts to land large
conventions in the future.
