A Final Word to Voters.
As a final word to all friends ol
the State Prohibition law and
question, now on trial for its life,
fey the legislature to be elected this
year; to the wi'e, mother, sister,
daughter and childhood of Decatur
county—whose most vital interests
we seek to subserve in that
Legislature—and to the friends of
all those sacred civic interests lying
wrapt in those great moral questions
involved herein, we make this last
appeal—to rally to the standard of
the Prohibition cause—in immiment
peril by the to be elected legislature
of 1909—and in this county next
Wednesday, March 11th.
As an orginal Probitionist and
Civic Reformer we make it.
As the loyal friend and defender
of every moral, social and civic
principle and interest of our 1908
civilization—
As the most loyal, consisten t and
fitted candidate and
As the friend of our innocent and
most profoundly 'and vitally con-,
cemed womanhood and childhood,
of Posterity and in the name of God
and His cause, we make it—and
then forever leave it is to the pur*
poses of His will!
Faithfully
John M. Brown.

Mr- Voter! It is a fact that the
Railroads have one, and probably
more^candidates for legislature hon
ore, pledged to legislate in their
interest - -in the pending raee. Their
lawyers and one of the Directors
and Stockholders of a Railroad,
hasee said so to our personal friends
and the fact cannot be successfully
controverted. Better find out these
pre pledged candidates and strike
their name’s before voting.
The vital life and efficiency of the
Anti Saloon law is at stake m the
Primary Election next Wednesday
in this County—insofar as the
Senate and two Representatives
from Decatur County may be able
to effect it and don’t you doubt it
for a moment. So if you are a
friend to Prohibition and State
control of corporated interest and
civic Reform you had better rally
to the support of their openly
aroused candidates.
“Be not deceived—God is not
mocked—for whatsoever a man
soweth that shall he also reap”!
A ote against Brown is a vote
against the Prohibition law and
civic righteousness and a help for
the reastablishment of the rotten old
Bar Room regime or something
worse. Vote as you pray.
The evidence is o’erwhelming that
the old Saloon influence is seeking
to elect a legislature friendly, if n ot
pledged, to the re-establishment ot
Liquor shops in Georgia, and
Prohibitionists had better vote r. nd
work for the men of their faith and
doctrine if they would preserve
inviolate Prohibition, with ail the
blessings it brings to innocent

childhood.
