Judge D. L. Ivey of Unadilla, was in
tho city yesterday.
Col. Watts Powell visited Sparks a
few days this week.
Miss Carolyn Roberts, after a visit
of several days to friends it*^Atlanta,
returned home yesterday.
Rev. J. D. Norris and wife left yes
terday afternoon for Atlanta, where
they go for Mrs. Norris* health. Her
many friends trust that she will be
greatly improved.
Miss Kate McArthur, of Fort Valley,
is in the city on a visit to her sister,
Mrs. J. M. Whitehead. Miss McArthur
lias a host of friends in Vienna who aro
always glad too see her.
Mrs. T. L. Sanders, daughter, Miss
Ninnie, and son Sherbert, of Pinia,
came up Wednesday and spent the day
with Mrs, Sanders fattier, Sheriff Shep
pard. Mrs. Sanders and son roturned
home Thursday, leaving Miss Ninnie
to spend a few days with her grand
father.
Mrs, D. L. Henderson and children
left yesterday morning for Henderson.
They were met nt Unadilla by Judge
Henderson and daughter Allice, who
have been up at Indian Springs for
their' health. Mrs Henderson and
children will spend several days there
with iter parents, Mr. and Mrs. B'. C.
Kendrick.
Marriage Tomorrow.
A quiet home marriage will take
place in this city tomorrow, when
Miss Annie May, the pretty and
popular daughter of Dooly county's
efficient Sheriff G. W. Sheppard,
will be married to Mr. W. T.
Perry of Cordele, who holds a re
sponsible position with J. A. Las
seter & Co. The marriage will
take place at xo o’clock in the
morning.
