NO ASSIGNMENT OF
CASES THIS TERM
And all Parties interested ¥111 Hare to
Appear Flrst Day of Court
...j.. -■ • ; i
A letter has been received in this
city by Col.'D. A. R. Crum, sec
retary of the Dooly County Bar
association, from Judge Littlejohn,
stating that there would be no
assignment of ^ases for the Sep
tember term of Dooly Superior
court, and enclosing an order to
that effect to be posted up In the
court house.
The letter in part, is as follows
“There will be no assignment of
cases for September term of Dooly
Superior court. All civil cases will
be in order for trial on first day of
court.”
The reason for this change is that
there will not be sufficient business
to demand an assignment of cases
and lhe progress of the court will
not be interfered with on account
of not having enough cases for trial
on any certain day.
All parties having cases should
remember this order and be on hand
promptly the first day and remain
in attendance until their cases have
been disposed of in the regular
manner.
