If President Roosevelt reads nil
the comments of the Southern
press on himself, he will have an
idea that the Southern people do
not care a rap where his ancestors
came from.
A press dispatch from New

of coni will soon be ut an end us
the price will take a tumble, This
will'bc welcome news indeed to
the people of the cold northern

Gov. Terrell proved 11 very pop
ular visitor in New York,’ where
he and his party were wined and
dined by the high muckety-mucks
of Gotham, nndentertuined in true
queen’s style. Somehow Georgians
always were popular in New
York.
Charlie Daniel says there is quite
it sentiment in favor of Judge
Alton B. Parker, of New York,

We have heard a few of the
“college yells” which college

Our people enjoyed a treat Inst

State School Commissioner, will
be present and address the bjdy.
Our schools are progressing very
nicely with nearly two hundred
pupils in attendance. We claim

schools to be found in this county.
If anyone doubts this let them pny
a visit to it and spend 11 few hours
and they will find a mott .congen

a student body who appreciate the
opportunities placed bo r orc them

will soon be able to make a dis-
