A negro man, driving a horse
hitched to a wagon was just at

buggy.
The girls, realising that there
was no room for them to pass the
wagon and that if something were
not done that They would'run into
the buggy, turned tbeir horse Vary
quickly to one side of the street
and the boggy was thereby cap
sized, thus throwing them out on
the ground. Miss Minnie clung
to the lines with commendable te
nacity and was dragged some dis
tance on the ground, thus receiving
more serious injuries than her sister.
However, neither of them was
seriously injured which wilTbe glad
news to their many friends.

Some towns are passing eurfew laws

VIENNA NEEDS A LARGER HOTEL.
Hmnot* No Hooms to Rjrit' lathi*
City at Present,
Vienna MUST have more reai
donees to accommodate the colt-
stuntly growing demaud. Are we
going to see people turned away
from our doors for the want of
houses to live in t Such conditions
almoit exist now, and something
should be done to remedy it, . As
un investment, money put into new
cottage* and residences will bring
in a handsome income, and pay-a
splendid rate of interest. Then
wity will not tome of our citizens
with money build these houses that
are needed to bad?
Surely no better investment can
be made, and at the tame time, it
would b/ a patriotic service to the
town.

It Is Said to Be Very Bad In Some
Communities.
While not desiring to frighten
the people, we wish to intorm them
that the smallpox situation in other

very bad, and in some places it it
epidemic, to that they should be

At every place where it has
