Tho machinery of Dooly’s draft op
eration continues to move without
interruption. C. P. Noles, clerk of
the County Board is looking after thu
clerical work of the board and mail
ing out the Questionnaires. Up to
dato Questionnaires have been mailed
to 1,480 registrants, and 453 remain
yet to be mailed. By the end of an
other week every registered man in
thee ounty will have received one.
Since the mailing first began a quota
from the advisory board appointed to
serve in the county has been at the
court house to assist the registrants
in properly filling out thc blanks.
These men have rendered invaluable
service. Their duties will continue
for seven days following the mailing
of the last questionnaires.
Tho work of classification is to
start at once and as each registrant
is classified, he will be mailed a notice
stating in wliat class ho has been
placed. With the completion of this
everything will bo in readiness for
the next call which will probably be
mado sometime in February. *

a very small sum. The lot contained
many beautiful and useful articles to

Tho use of a vacant building was
