ty from Andrew M. Soule who Is adf
mlnistrator for the state. Judge Hen*
derson has .entered upon his new du
ties with energy and determination to
see that justice and fair play in the
role and distribution of food in this
county is given to all, and the govern
ment protected from any nnecessary
bearding of food. The administrator
will probably have a statement for
publication next week. In the mean
time the following outline gives tho
people ait idea of what his duties wilt

to co-operate with him in the per
formance of same:
"It is your duty to have general
oversight of all matters affecting food
administration in your county, and to
see in so far as possible that an ade
quate supply of food is available; that

Washington. Therefore, in case you
think the law is being evaded or brok
en, you are respectfully requested to
secure the essential facts and advise
this office in relation thereto, which
in turn will report the matter to Wash

tuted from that center in accordance
with the requirements of the organi-
