NUT SHELLS AND LARGE
FRUIT SEED NEEDED
Atlanta.—The war is bringing out
a-usafior- everything under the sun;
■ and it is a safe bet nowadays to keep
everything in thew orld that you lay
your hands on. You may not see the
usefulness of thearticle at the time,
but before long the U. S. government
will be calling for that piece of wire
or string, that automobile tire, any
thing and everything elso too.
Now the people of Georgia are
asked to save all nut shells and large
fruit seeds for the purpose of aiding
in the manufacture of particular
kind of charcoal to be used by the
government in the gas respirators that
will protect the U. S. f soldiers over
seas. The request is being sent out
over the state by Dr. George Brown,
of Atlanta, who is charged with the
duty of disseminating information
about the need for such shells and
seeds. Peach seed, plum, apricot,
cherry, olive seeds and walnut shells,
brazil nut shells and hickory and but
ternut shells, all these can be used by
the gas defence section of the chcmi
cal warfare division of the army and
they should be carefully saved by ev
eryone. They will he called for later
by the Red Cross.

appetite, it Is probably a sign that your
blood needs Iron. Take Ziron.
