Mr. Williams Dixon, of I’accville, whose house wns burglarized Monday night, was in the city yesterday. From particulars gathered from Mr. Dixon, it appears that the burglary was one of the boldest ever perpetrated in this section. The robbers went into every room in the house, upstairs and down, and took whatever struck their fancy, silverware, clothing, Ac. None of the family heard the burglars, which is, perhaps, fortunate, for it is almost certain that the intruders were pre pared to do murder, if they had been discovered. When the burglars left tney placed a club nt the door of each room they bail entered as a souvenir of their visit. The robbers are still at large. Quarterly Conference. Dr. J. W.
