Sixteen Trans-continental Passenger
Trains Daily.
Coder the new train schedule ttbicli the
Northern Pacific nail road inaugurates June
15th, 18'JO, there will sixteen trains-continental
passenger trains moving daily on this great
line, eight east bound and eight west bound,
exclusive of 108 local, main and hrach line pas
senger trains running daily west of St. Paul,
Ashland and Duluth in Wisconsin, Minnesota,
North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Oregon and
Washington on its 3800 miles of track.

arrangement the first through train, the raciflc
Express, leaves st. Paul at 8:16 a, m daily, with
a through rullman Palace sleeping car, leaving
Chicago dally at 5:30 p. m. via the Chicago,
Milwaukee & st. caul Hallway, running via Hel
ena and Tacoma direct to Portland, and making
dote connection at st. Paul vitli all trains leav
ing st. Louis in the forcnoo’i and Chicago in tbs
afternoon of the previous nay, arriving at Taco
ma 10:50 a. in. of the thin* day and Portland the
same afternoon.
Thi second through train, No. l, the Pacific
Mall, leaving 8t. Paul at 4:15 p. in., daily, mak
ing close connections with the Fast Mail,” and
all night trains out of Chicago, will carry a
through Pullman Palace8lceping Car and one
or more l*ullmun Tourist Sleeping Cars leading
Chicago at 10:45 p.m. daily via the Wisconsin
Central Itpe. running through to Portland via
Helena and Tacoma. Both trains out of St.
Paul will carry Pullman Tourist Sleeping Cars
nuu Dining Cara, but free colonist Bleepers
will bo run only cm train Ko. 1, leaving 81. Paul
