MoREFoousHNEES-We have known
Jim Hastings for over two years,

having the enure American population
know unit he sleeps in the ditch open
er t an in his bed In our last issue
we incidentally referred to him in con
nection with a barrel ot whiskey, sup-
posing he would feel flattered if any
thing. To our great amazement he
walked into this office yt s'erday and
demanded a p rsonn! and public apolo
gy. He l.ad with bin a urit’en apol-

he wanted us to publish or take the
co-requtnces. Wc generally pretet
the consiquences. We did tn this
case, and it was a painful spectacle to
see pcOJ old Jim, who was once a
gilted lawyer, aid is now living on his
mother-in-law, peel off to do us up.
We simply dropped him out ot a back
window, and when he borrowed a gun
at the Star saloon and fired six bul
lets into the Kicker office wc paid him
not the least attention. He is around
town boasting of how he is going to
shoot us on sight. Foolish old man !

Blood Poison follows through generation!, and Is the seat of mao. diseases.
The fooli-h idea of bleedfng a person for many ills ts now one of the highly
ridiculous practices of former medical science. The idea is to build up the system,
it need- aU U e blood, and at an early day the person who fails to take W. \Y. C,
for any Blood Trouble, Kidney or Bladder Affliction, Rheumatism, Indigestion, etc.,
will lx: as much tn object of amusement as the methods of the early physicians.
Why? Because he does’nt know a good thing ( W. W. C. is) when he sces'it.
