Brockton. Mara. Curtrighl & Daniel, Agents, Thomasville, Ga. julyl-Om Brooks County Ailiancemen. Brooks county in Georgia numbers it’s ailiancemen by tlie hundreds and some bv tlie thousa ids, but we doubt if those ol any county in the state have been np>rc conservative or more zeal ous in carrying out the fundamental principles of t»-e order than those of Brooks county. "Equal rights o all; special privil eges to none” has been the motto of Brooks county ailiancemen and right well have they carried it out. While other counties have been waging war on tl.eir towns by the establishment of trade stores and similar institutions, the ailiancemen o[ Brooks have used their best endeavor to build up their town and not to tear down. The l’ress is confident that ali conservative men will agree with it in saving that this has been the wise course. What ti e farmer wants is a good market for his produce. Ilis couu'.v town is, by the very nature of filings, his market tor both buying and selling. This being true, the larger in his town, the more people there trill be to buy bis produce, and likewise the larger his town, the more merchants there are who wish to sell him, and con sequently the closer the competi- t on and cheaper the goods. Brooks county’s ailiancemen are pursuing the right course and the Press knows them to be men of suf ficient wisdom and conserva'ism to continue in it.—Quitman Press. , Nature should be assisted in the spring to throw oil the heaviness of the sluggish winter circulation of the blood. Nothing docs it so well, so [prompt or so safely [as Swift's Specific. I have used 8. S. 8. for a number of years, and consider it tho best tonic anti blood remedy that I ever used.
