Mrs. B. 1'. Walker left yesterday .morning for Macon, to visit her son, Presley, and to attend the state fair. Gunert, accompanied by his mother aud sister, of Oconto, Wisconsin, are stopping atthe Stuart. They will spend the winter in Thom- atville. Mr. “Clint’’ Worrel and Mr. Downing left yesterday morning for the exposition at Atlanta, and proba bly tho state fair at Macon. They will no doubt have a pleasant trip. Resolutions. Resolved, That the several military organizations of the city, to-wit: The Thomasvillo Guards, Thomas Hussars and South Georgia Cadets be request ed to join in a military display on the 12th of November.
