The thorough business man will not tolerate a shoddy jo'o of priming, for it is too often that the cards, letter heads, circulars, etc., sent out by a house arc taken as an index lo its business, and a nice, neat tasty, job of work, put on good paper, is the best advertisement a man can have. The Timks-Entkr- prise, with its well equipped office, skilled workmen and complete line of stationery, is prepared to do your priming in a style that will be a credit to your business. Met his Death by Unknown Par ties—The VerdictofthcJury The inquest over the body of Jim .Simmons, the negro who was lynched by masked men near Cairo about 1 o'clock Tuesday morning, was held by Coroner Johnson yesterday. .Sev eral witnesses were examined, but no clew as to the parties participating in the deed was brought out. All the lynchers wore masks of white cloth. The jury consisted of Z. E. Norton, foreman, J. It. Singletary, A. M. Godwin, I). II. Singletary, .J. W. Maxwell, J. M. Glenn nud W. C. Barrow. The verdict found was as follow.-: “Wo,the jury, sworn by B. C. Joint- sou, coroner of said county, to inquire into the death of Jim Simmons, col ored, the deceased, find that lie came to his death on the morning of Nov. 18th, 181)0, by pistol shots and his throat being cut by parties unknown to the jury, this Nov. I'.itli 1.800.” The lynching was the first to occur this county in many years, and we hope it will be the last for many lung years to conic. Lynch law is wrong, and it should never, unless under ex traordinary eases, be resorted to. There are some cases where it is justi fiable, but they tire very rare. The laws in Thomas county have always been fairly and promptly enforced, and this should be satisfactory to all classes. Ochlockonee Dots. After an absence of some tunc I j come again.
