The Constitution says: “Governor Northen yesterday ap pointed the four delegates at-large from Georgia to the immigration con vention, to be held at Asheville, N. C., on the 17th day of December. They are: H. A. Wrench, of Dal• ton ; Frank Weldon, of Savannah ; P. A. Stovall, of Augusta, and W. L. Glessner, of Americus. These are all ne >s pa per men, the object in their appointment being to interest the press of the slate in the matter, which is one of great impor tance. In addition to ihcse delegates, two are to be appointed from each sena torial district in the slate, fhe sena tors will he consulted in these appoint ments, and the delegates will be, if possible, real estate and business men and farmers."
