The Floridian, Tallahaa-ec, siys:
Dr. J.A. Audrcws, of Iamonia, was
{t pleasant caller at the Floridian

fehncco boom in Leon county and will
flse bis experience of several years as
a tobacco grower m Gadsden county
in helping bis neighbors to make suc

Lecturing Turner.
The Bainbridge Democrat Rays:
The Cuthbert Liberal-Enterprise
of last week undertakes to read the
Hon. Henry G. Turner a lecture on
his attitude towards the sub-treasury
bill, and show how ho could have
been defeated’by the Alliance had
they been properly organized. Even
then, in our opinion, it would have
been hard to have accomplished the
defeat of so true n democrat and
tried statesman as Mi. Turner. In
the meantime Mr. Turner will keep
his cye3 open to the benefit oi the
farmer and all other working clnss-
Henry G. Turner will advocate
something better thau the sub treas

People passing along Broad street
lire struck by the large amount of
holiday goods displayed by onr mer
chants. Notwithstanding the de
pressed condition of the money mar
ket, there are more goods and better
goods exhibited this season than ever
before. To substantiate the above
assertion, we would cite the readers
attention to the elegant establishment
of Mr. Jos. Jerger. A look into his
store will convince the most skeptical
of the truth oi the above. You can
find there' all the latest novelties in
Xmas goods, articles to suit all classes
and pur'sc3. His stock was selected
with the. utmost care, and no paius
or expense were spared to give the
people of Tiiomasville the opportunity
