Christinas Tree.
At 6:30, on the evening of the
25th, the Baptist bell called the Sun
day school scholars and their many
friends to witness old Santa Claus,
dressed in his icy robe, pull from an
elegantly decorated, well filled Xmas
tree many beautiful presents, ,aud
such as would make glad the hearts
of the dear Sunday schools scholars.
It was a picture that none can de
scribe and only those present could
fully appreciate, to sec the pure
hearts of God’s little folks exhibited
on the countenances of amiable chil
dren When Santa Claus was ap
pr aching, his welcome hells could be
but faintly heard at first, but as lie
drew nearer the bells rang louder,
and when he fronted the and.once his
merry hells kept time with the song.
“Merry Xmas Bells are Kinging.”
Santa Claus loves the children and
brought a present for all ol them. If
any- failed to got one they should visit
those who assisted Sauta Claus and
demand it of them -
After the greatly admired tree hud
been stripped of all its beauty, Santa
Claus made his exit, tho choir *iuig
an appropriate song, and the audience
chatted over their many presents anil
went away rejoicing.

The- transition from long, lingering and
painful sickness to robust health marks an
epoch in the life of the individual. Such a
remarkable evennt is treasured in the mem
ory and the agency whereby the good health
lias been attained is gratefully blessed. Hence
it is that so lunch is heard in praise of Elec
tric Bittcis. So many fed they owe their
restoration to health, to the use of the Great
A Iterative anil Tonic. If you aure troubled
with any disease of Kidneys, Liver or-stom-

assertion, wo would cite the readers
attcutiou to the elegant establishment
of Mr. Jos. Jergcr. A look into lies
